Lucky Pet Cat Food

What brands of wet cat food is recommended?

My cat is one of the canteens of most pickiest ever, and have tried many many marks what he likes, but I know that is not the best (Friskies Canned foods) I have tried many brands but does not seem to them. I live in Canada a few marks not available, as states have .. Any suggestions on what wet cat food to buy. I want to be healthy. He is an indoor cat and very active in the night.

You're right, Friskies is not very large but not yet fed, then dry food. Stay away from the flavors of salsa. Has welfare where it is canned and is the best if you eat it

Pet Cat Weight
Why is dog food more expensive than cat food?

I went into the pet store and noticed that when I bought my dog a bag of 20 pounds of food, a bag of cat food weight itself is 2x cheaper.

Would have to compare the quality of the ingredients. In my experience, cat food sold in small quantities and is more expensive.

Healthy Pet Cat Food
Do you have a recipe for healthy home made cat food?

In light of recent pet food recall, I've been thinking seriously about making my own cat food. I would find a good recipe, a balanced diet for an adult cat in particular. In fact, I have a web page animals, and I would like to include that information in it, so if you have a recipe for dog food doglovers that would be too big! :) By "proven", I simply mean something that really has been fed to a cat, with no ill effects and seems to be a healthy alternative to products trade in the market. I realize that nothing is "foolproof" and that each animal is unique and each one of us. Thanks for the responses so far! :) Wow … all the answers so far are so good, and several of you have made it impossible to choose the best! I would like to give several "best answers". Thanks everyone!

I saw a guy on Oprah who has a couple of books out. I'll pick up a book once sent to my library. Both books contain information on pet nutrition. Country Pet Cat Food
Does anyone know the best way to travel between countries with a cat?

I will be driving from Georgia to Washington state with my cat and dog. I'm worried about that dog, but I wonder if I need a makeshift litter box in my car to my kitten (who is 10 months old) or just set one each night at the hotels? I can not imagine that she was eatting in the car (although it has food and water available to them) so I'm not really sure what to do. Any advice on this or just driving across country with pets are generally welcome. Thank you!

Well .. I drove to half of all home with my three cats. It was not easy, but you can do. Just arrange ahead of time to spend the night Hotels in animals. Make sure you get where want to be 8 to 9 pm each night. This is what I did …. I first got them used to spend some time in their kennels. I had a very large cage that I put them all in the night before leaving, they took the food and water for about 11 or midnight. Then I packed in the morning and put them in the backseat of the car. He had a box sand in a black plastic bag waste prepared in the trunk. I covered the box with a blanket to keep it dark and we started driving. Ensuring that you can not see out is really very important. They cried until noon that day. Around 11 or so my cat just started nuts. I thought I had to use the bathroom so I stopped and bag the litter box out of the trunk and put it in the car. (keeping the vehicle doors closed) drew him out of the box and tried to put in the bag. Freaked! Put it back in the cage and kept driving. He cried for the next hour and at noon, finally they all went to sleep. We reached the hotel around 8 or something. I have everything I needed in the room and closed the door and made sure there was nowhere they could go. I put their food and water and trash in the bathroom and let them eat and drink what you want until midnight and took him. They were a little wild in the new place. I had to lock them in the bathroom of the night to rest, because it was a little crazy. The next day I took all day and did not utter a peep. We arrived at 9 pm at night. When we got there, I realized that the box smelled like pee … so someone urinated although I do not know who or what day. Anyway, besides that everything was fine. Each cat is different so if you are really cool cats may not even really nervous. My best advice is to always have in their boxes, when the door of the car or the hotel door is open. Otherwise, you may never see their cat again. That would be really bad.
