How do I care for my fish surprise!?
So I went to a local pet store today to get a friend of my beta, and I bought what was labeled as Corydoras a "trilineatus. I was not sure what it was, but the shop owner assured me it was the right fish. I had never been here before, I have a salt water distributor, but my friend raved about him and I tentatively freshwater branched-why not add another distributor my A-list? He seemed quite nice, no dead fish floating around, clean establishment, cleaning tanks, etc. .. However, after my acclimatization Corydoras new "I did a little digging, and I do not buy a Corydoras" I bought a fish who have never heard of before, how can I care for a Striped Rafael catfish? That looks nothing like the fish I wanted! It's in a 10 gallon tank right now, with a nice little filter, airstones, some plastic plants, and a rock / lo of the cave. Just returned the thing, but I will not have time for about four days and my beta tolerate it, so maybe I'll keep it.
Their fish is received about 8 inches long. This is a bottom dweller to be taken with the largest fish of the community. It feeds on algae, mosquito larvae, and regular tropical fish food.
