cat behavior questions?
I'm about to adopt a shelter cat. I have not owned a cat before. This seems pretty calm and sweet. But I've been reading online About Cat proof my house. I can not possibly keep all the accessories on the tables and I would not like. I also have Antiques can not leave my house only by a cat. Should I worry that a cat can do as much damage. Or are the websites of overstating the problem? I friends with cats and seems to have reorganized their homes due to domestic animals. Also I have a guinea pig. She is in a cage. Is this correct with a cat in the house. Thank you.
It depends on some cats like to get on the counters and mess with objects and themes and some don `t, if they do can be broken by this, just say no and take it off the counter and continue to do so. my cat doesn `t personally so its basically not random, if they will or not. I sincerely believe they are exaggerating the problem a lot so I don `t re-organize your home for the cat. I also have a hamster, and its been doing well, so it probably will be fine with the cat at home. I hope this has helped. good luck =]
