Met Pet Cat Toys
Im adopting a cat tomorrow, I've never had one so can you help me?

Okay. I just went to a shelter today and elected a cat. Ive been really do my homework and study what I want to be sure x3 I said come tomorrow and pick it up but I have nothing prepared! I waited a week or something to prepare and respond to the cat. What should I buy before the cat comes home with me? Ive just met him and all he did was pet and watch him play. I do not know what like food, toys, etc.. Im going to Petco to buy supplies, I buy supplies after or before going to pick? what I hear all the details when I picked it up housing? What should I do to bring a carrier or one or give me a box? I know it's vaccinated / neutered etc.. I am very happy (its my birthday tomorrow!) but I need help:) thanks! I wanted to ask that before leaving, but my mother had to go to work: / to complete the application havnt made it yet or in said we have to turn on and wait 30 min. for review and then take him home.

Yes, you'll need some company … I believe that PetCo, PetsMart, etc. have cheap cardboard that are good in a pinch. You can also call and ask if the house has. It would help if the junk box filled (s) of food and water dishes and set before you bring home a cat, then release him / her in that area of the house. Try to keep household noise and activity levels a bit and your cat does not get "scared" while researching your new home. Speak softly, but leaves unexplored too "floating". Kitty probably want to know your new home before you interact and play with. Some suggestions … – Better quality cat food (wet or dry) will beef as the main ingredient. N corn (cheap filler that does not digest well, no wheat gluten (carbohydrates fattening with little nutritional value, not products (products are rubbish, ie "chicken feet, feathers and beak). – Products of stainless steel or glass ceramic food and water dishes are best. Of plastics absorbs skin oils and food, contact with the skin of cats can irritate and cause acne Kitty "(dark spots on the chin and 'cheeks are a sign of this condition). – Young kittens, like children, go through a stage where they eat or chew on things as part of its discovery. If your cat is yet at this stage, begin with a larger grain sand clay or wheat-based grouping Tigerino because eating regular trash can be harmful to them. – String and yarn NO are good toys because cats tend to eat and swallow which can cause severe intestinal problems. Start with "clear" that the toys have small parts attached that could come loose and be swallowed. Watch carefully when introducing new toys to make sure your cat is not hurt and pull toys as they become frayed or bare. – Give your cat some options for scratching, as scratching posts covered in carpet, Sissel (sp?) Rope or some of those wavy rings cardboard. Rub cut cat to make them even more attractive. That's all I can think of for now … ~ ~ ~ ~ Happy Birthday and enjoy your new companion! I so glad you are giving a shelter cat a chance of a home filled with love!
